Database News and Updates

G21-2007-Raw.mdb and G19-2007-Raw.mdb are both updated weekly at 10:00am on Saturdays.

This site is intended to be a list of changes that have happended to the Biomet databases. There are times when errors are found which require that the data be completely repopulated in a certain table or database. If you notice something wrong with the databases please email me with information as soon as possible so that it may be corrected.

Known Problems

Duplicate time values still exist. They were not removed if all of the other columns in the row were not duplicates.

7/14/08 - Databases updated manually due to partial reboot of server.

7/10/08 - Databases updated manually to check update to update scripts. Duplicate lines are now removed before the data is sent to the databases.

7/10/08 - MySQL and MS Access databases updated. Duplicate lines (where all data in the row is a duplicate) have been removed and the data sorted by time.

7/9/08 - MySQL databases will have temporary outtages. The data is being filtered for duplicate rows and may be in the process of being replaced when you attempt to access it. The MS Access databases will be going through the same process however it will be much less interrupted.

7/3/08 - G19-2007 ecco2g19_flux updated. Repeat DDOYs removed and time gaps filled.

6/30/08 - MySQL database repopulated due to a repopulation error on 6/28/08

6/28/08, 1:00am - MySQL databases deleted and repopulated from MS Access databases. Numeric fields updated from FLOAT to DOUBLE.

6/27/08 - G21-2006, ECCO2G21_Flux on the MySQL database repopulated

6/13/08 - LAI2 table added to G19-2007

6/12/08 - MySQL databases updated. NUMERIC columns converted to FLOAT. All databases updated

6/2/08 - Databases manually updated because Precip had an error

4/16/08 - Tall Tower 2007 data updated. Vapor pressure and relative humidity were not calcuted properly. Spac correction was applied to the water vapor data to account for calibration at atmospheric pressure but operation at 30 kPa.

3/26/08 - G21 2006: Biomass table added

1/30/07 - G21-2006 Photo_Rad_In_AVG corrected. Every value after DOY 234 had previously been deleted.

1/29/07 - LAI data for all fields has been corrected. TAO and LAI were previously switched.

1/29/07 - LAI for C7 2005 has been added.

1/29/07 - LAI for G19 2005 has been added. I had previously forgotten to add it.

1/22/07 - G21 ECCO2G21_flux H_filtered has bee corrected. It was previously set as a text column and would return all NaN's when querried with a numeric return.

1/15/07 - Nonstationarity ratio databases have been combined into the existing databases. The data from the Nonstationarity ratio databases now resides in a table named NR is database corresponding to its original field and year. (G19-NR_2004 data was moved to G19-2004_Raw.mdb)

1/11/07 - Nonstationarity ratio databases have been setup in the database directory. The data was computed by Travis Bavin and consists of one set of values for each half hour period of the high frequency data. The databases are named similarly to this: G19-NR_2004.mdb

1/8/07 - 2007 Databases have been added to the regular host, TDL data has not yet been added

1/5/07 - 2006 Databases updated

1/2/07 - Database Update halted for end of year transition

11/16/06 - TDL_CO2_Z4 data in G21 2006 has been completely updated.

11/14/06 - LAI 2005 table has been corrected. It was the 2004 data previously.

11/01/06 - Corrected 2006 MainG21. After day 234 the columns from Photo_Rad_In_AVG right were shifted three columns left.
