Current Research Interests

My research interest include: 1) how climate change can affect the energy partitioning and evaporation of lakes over the past decades. I use models such as CLM4-LISSS and pan evaporation to investigate these processes. 2) regional greenhouse gas emissions in the Upper Midwest, United States using inverse modeling techniques. At the University of Minnesota I'm using the WRF-STILT model to calculate the tall tower concentration footprint for carbon dioxide over the period 2008 to 2015 and applying a Bayesian inverse analysis to estimate the regional carbon budget.
